Sandra Kolstad makes electronic and extravagant pop music. Through the release of three critically acclaimed albums, Kolstad has established herself as a musician who floats between sonic pop melodies and more experimental soundscapes. Kolstad is known for her highly visual performances and has seduced audiences in Norway, Germany, Spain, UK, US, Russia and most recently South America. She makes electronic music, but as a classically trained pianist, she has big ambitions

Ducktails (US)
Ducktails is an American band from Ridgewood, New Jersey formed in 2006 as the solo recording project of Real Estate's former guitarist Matt Mondanile. Following a number of limited-run cassette releases, the 2009 albums Ducktails and Landscapes brought Ducktails critical recognition.

Julianna Barwick (US) (in collaboration with Folken)
Louisiana-bred, Brooklyn-based recording artist Julianna Barwick crafts ethereal, largely wordless soundscapes, all of which are built around multiple loops and layers of her angelic voice. Barwick, who credits a rural church choir upbringing for her unique sound, begins most tracks with a single phrase or refrain, then uses a loop station and the occasional piano or percussive instrument to build the song into a swirling mass of lush ambient folk.

Kaada (NO)
Diverse and prolific Norwegian composer and multi-instrumentalist Kaada career spans a string of critically acclaimed solo albums, major motion picture soundtracks, high-profile collaborations with key players such as Mike Patton, as well as numerous live appearances at home and abroad.

Mount Eerie (US) (i samarbeid med Folken)
Phil Elverum is Mount Eerie. The 33 year-old multi-instrumentalist has played in other bands, and worked as a producer, but remains best known for this solo project, which began under the name the Microphones in 1997. In 2003, he renamed the project Mount Eerie (and added an “e” to his last name, Elvrum) after returning from a trip to Norway, where he lived alone in a remote cabin for a winter.
